Carla Befera Public Relations
Carla
Befera has been a Bay Area publicist for over 20 years. Prior to
forming her company in 1986,
she acted as Marketing
Director for KQED Public Broadcasting, one of the nation's top
four public television stations (Channel 9), its sister station
(Channel
32) and its NPR station (88.5 FM). Carla Befera Public Relations
has represented a variety of clients including major concerts
and
theatrical productions,
large scale public events, national television specials and series,
non-profit campaigns and other businesses and concerns.
Carla
Befera Public Relations has acted as public relations
counsel for long-running theatre hits including Steve Martin's Picasso
At The Lapin Agile, Sylvia, Greater
Tuna, Noises Off,
and Ian Mckellen
Acting Shakespeare. Touring Broadway productions include Contact,
Sam Mendes' Cabaret, Les Miserables, Cats, Wit, Fosse, Penn & Teller,
Titanic, Fiddler on the Roof, The
Sound of Music, Miss Saigon,

The Producers, and starring vehicles for Liza
